Deactivated Lee-Enfield no4 mk1* British-built rifle 1944 dated SOLD

This is a British-built Lee-Enfield rifle no.4 mk1* in good original condition, refurbished with genuine mk1 furniture in super condition. Of interest is the mk1* designation as the vaste majority of 1* rifles were made in the US or Canada, but the serial number format identifies this as a British built rifle. Retaining nearly all of it's blacked finish to the steel and fitted with battle sights and alloy butt plate, this rifle is dated 1944 on the butt socket. Most mk1 rifles were converted to mk2 after the war, designated mk1/2, making this an unusual example. Cocks, dry-fires and fully strippable, this super rifle comes complete with webbing sling. The inert .303 ammunition shown is not included, but is available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 per round, post free if ordered with the rifle. No4 'spike' bayonets also available from £15 and cleaning kits for £8. Deactivated with certificate in the UK to UK specification.
