Deactivated Lee-Enfield No4 Mk1, British made, matching s/numbers

This is a British-built Lee-Enfield rifle no.4 mk1 in very good authentic condition, marked No4 MK1  on the left side of the breech.  This example has excellent original furniture, with the more desirable fluted handguard, serial matched on the forestock. The metalwork retains nearly all of it's original finish, and it is fitted with the more desirable mk1 milled ladder sights, correct brass butt-plate, and detachable 10 round magazine. Marked 'DP' in a couple of places to indicate a drill weapon. Under current EU regs, this rifle does not cock or dry-fire, but has working bolt (with matching serial number again) and trigger and is mostly strippable, and comes with genuine webbing sling. Perfect for the reinactor or collector alike. A full clip of inert .303 ammunition is also included, with more available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 per round, post free if ordered with the rifle. No4 'spike' bayonets also available from £25.   Deactivated with proof-house certificate in the UK to UK/EU specification.
