This is a Beretta Silver Eagle side-by-side boxlock shotgun, marked Pietro Beretta-Gardone V.T. on the side of the 28 1/2 inch barrels. Beretta have a long tradition of producing fine weapons for both the military and for sporting use, and are renowned for their quality. This particular example is in very good condition, with lightly cross-hatched walnut stock and prolifically engraved action and trigger guard, and good blacked finish on the Krupp steel barrels. It has full moving parts, so will cock and dry fire on both barrels with functional safety. Two inert 12 bore cartridges are also included in any available colour to complete the package, with more available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
