Deactivated Italian Carcano model 1891 short rifle, dated 1918

This is the Model 91 rifle developed originally by Salvatore Carcano in 1890 in Italy, and produced from 1891 till 1945 in various forms.  It was used by Italian forces during WW1 and both German and Italian forces in WW2. Chambered for a 6.5mm round, it was loaded via a 6-round 'en-bloc' clip. On this example, the original hardwood stock is in very good authentic condition with matching serial number on the butt. Interesting that is an unusual short rifle stock, and the barrel is fitted with a WW2 German K98 foresight. The steel retains a lot of it's original blacked finish, and is marked Terni and dated 1918 on the octagonal receiver. Cocks and dry-fires and is fully strippable, and comes with leather sling and original cleaning rod. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to EU specification.

 Our price: £395.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the EU.
