This is the 6.5mm calibre Model 91/38 carbine developed originally by Salvatore Carcano in 1890 in Italy, and produced from 1891 till 1945 in various forms, going from long rifle (M91/41) to carbine and back to rifle. It was used by Italian forces during WW1 and both German and Italian forces in WW2, and gained infamy for being the weapon that was used to assassinate John F. Kennedy. On this example, the original hardwood furniture is in excellent condition, with the steel retaining most of it's original blacked finish. Dated 1940 on the right side of the breech, with the armoury mark Terni on top of the breech. Loaded with a six-round 'en-bloc' clip, the inert rounds are not included, but are available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £2 each, or £20 for complete clip, post free if ordered together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
Our price: £350.00
