Deactivated Italian Carcano M38S Truppe Speciali infantry carbine, early spec **SOLD**

This is the a variant of the Model 38 carbine, developed originally by Salvatore Carcano in 1890 in Italy as the Model 1891, and produced from 1891 till 1945 in various forms. It was used by both German and Italian forces in WW2, and the carbine gained infamy for being the weapon that was used to assassinate John F. Kennedy. This example is a rare TS model, or Truppe Speciali, chambered for a Mauser 7.92mm round, and stamped 'S' on the breach to signify this, hence M38S. Designed for 'special troops', this carbine had a detachable bayonet and fixed sights. The original hardwood furniture is in very good authentic condition, with the steel retaining nearly all of it's original blacked finish. Marked FNA-B on the breach for the Brescia Armoury, who made these guns in 1938 and 1941. Early EU spec deactivation with full dry-firing action, and comes with leather sling and one inert 7.92mm Mauser round. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to EU specification.

 Our price: £575.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the EU.
