Deactivated Hungarian AMD-65 assault rifle, with side-folding stock **SOLD**

This is the Hungarian made AMD-65, a variant of their AKM used by regular forces, for use by airborne troops or occupants of armoured vehicles on account of its folding stock and shorter barrel. Introduced in 1965 when the AKMs had fixed stocks, these weapons were made by Feg up until 1980 but are still in use today. Chambered for the Russian 7.62 x 39mm cartridge, this weapon was used in Vietnam and more recent conflicts, distinguishable by the forward grip to help control full-auto fire. This example is in very good condition retaining most of its original blacked finish, with good complete plastic grips. Fixed bolt as usual, but full moving trigger and fire select/safety, and detachable magazine, complete with cleaning rod, leather sling and a couple of inert rounds to load into the mag. An impressive variant of the AK family of weapons. Deactivated in the UK with certificate to UK/EU specification.

Our Price: £275.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the EU.
