Deactivated German Walther PPK 7.65mm automatic pistol 1965 dated - in box **SOLD**

The Walther PP series of pistols were designed in 1929 by Carl Walther, and were issued to the German military, police, and Nazi Party officials during WW2. This variant, the PPK, was designed in 1931 and was popular for its compactness and ease of concealment, especially for non-military roles. Testimony to it's fine design is that it is still produced and in use today. This particular example is the PPK-L variant, with lightweight alloy frame, in excellent condition, with very good blacking to the frame and slide and very good grips. Dated 1965 on the ejector port, and correctly marked Walther magazine. Comes in original matched serial numbered box, complete with cleaning rod and an inert 7.65mm round to load into the magazine, this pistol can be cocked and dry-fired.  Deactivated in UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
