This is a 12-bore double-barrelled boxlock action shotgun of side-by-side construction made by G.E. Lewis as marked on the action sides, with barrels made by C.S. Bosson & Co Ltd, of Norwich as marked clearly on the top of the 28 inch barrels.  This example is in lovely condition with classic cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock, with just the odd mark that would be expected on an Edwardian-era shotgun. Delicately engraved metalwork, with only minor signs of corrosion on the action and barrels. This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a precise action on both barrels, and can be fully stripped. It would make a fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included, with more available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered  with the shotgun. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
