This is a beautiful old 16-bore sporting boxlock shotgun of side-by-side construction. Although no maker marks, it is known to be of French manufacture due to the markings, and would be dated to the early 1900s. Classic hardwood furniture with some light cross-hatching in very sound undamaged condition, and lovely ornate engraving around the action. The steel is  beautifully patinated, though shows signs of corrosion on the barrels. This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires and can be fully stripped.  Inert 16 bore cartridges are not included but are available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each in a variety of colours. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
