Deactivated Finnish Mosin-Nagant M1891/24 infantry rifle, early spec **ON HOLD**

This is a very unusual Finnish Army issue Model 1891/24 rifle, also known as the M24, which was basically a WW1 Russian made Model 1891 fitted with an improved Swiss made barrel. Marked Schweiz Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG) on the barrel side, these barrels were procured by the Finnish Civil Guard in 1924 as the original barrels were not very accurate. This example is also marked SA on the side, so must have made it's way into the Finnish Army. This gun is in generally good condition, complete and undamaged except for the odd battle scar, with characteristic sling points and cleaning rod. The action and barrel bears most of it's original finish, the sights are correctly recalibrated by the Finns. This rare rifle cocks, dry fires with a crisp action, and is fully strippable. Comes only with a couple of inert 7.62 x 54mm inert rounds, with more available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.

Our Price: £795.00
