This is a beautiful old hammer action sporting shotgun of side-by-side construction, with under lever breaking, made by Frederick T. Baker of London, where he made guns of very high quality. Maker named on the action sides and on top of the 30 inch damascus steel barrels, this mid-Victorian era shotgun is in lovely condition, with classic cross-hatched hardwood furniture and extensively engraved action and steelwork. This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a positive action on both barrels, and can be fully stripped. Two inert 12 bore cartridges are included, with more available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
