This is a 12-bore double-barrelled sidelock action shotgun of side-by-side construction made by F. Baxter, of Birmingham, as marked clearly on the top of the full 30 inch barrels. This example is in lovely condition, with classic cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock with beautiful grain. Delicately engraved metalwork, no signs of corrosion, and the barrels retaining all their blacked finish. This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a very precise action, and can be fully stripped. It would make a fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included, with more available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered  with the shotgun. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
