Deactivated Enfield P14 rifle, Winchester made with complete volley-sights **SOLD**

This is an early WW1 .303 calibre Winchester made Pattern 1914 Enfield rifle, known more simply as the P14. Winchester, along with Remington and Eddystone were tasked with producing these rifles during WW1 in the USA. A service rifle manufactured and used during WW1 and issued to the Home Guard in WW2, it was declared obsolete in 1947. These rifles were also popular for sniper use due to their greater accuracy than the SMLE. Typical of  early examples this rifle has full volley sights (usually incomplete), and regimental butt disc. Lovely authentic woodwork on this rifle, in excellent condition and excellent blued finish on the steel,  making this a lovely authentic piece of history. Inert .303 rounds are not included but are available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section, post free if ordered with the rifle. Cocks and dry fires, and is fully strippable, and fitted with correct webbing  sling. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.

Our Price £425.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
