Deactivated Danish made Madsen M/50 submachine gun, sliding cocking handle

This is the Madsen model 1950, or M/50 designed and built at the Dansk Industri Syndikat at Copenhagen, Denmark, but known more simply as the Madsen after the founder of the factory. The model 50 was introduced in November of 1950, and was a variation of the model 46,  and was later modified in to the model 53. This example is in very good clean condition, with near perfect blacking, and very good leather cover over the folding side-stock.  Chambering the 9mm x 19mm parabellum cartridge, this sub-machine gun has a detachable 32 round magazine, comes with a leather sling, and features a sliding cocking handle and bolt withmoving trigger. 3 rounds of inert 9mm ammunition are also included with this unusual 'cold-war' era machine gun. Deactivated in the UK with proof house certificate to full UK/EU specification.
