Deactivated Colt M16-A1 Assault Rifle

This is Colt M16-A1 assault rifle, chambered in .223" or 5.56mm. The M16 entered US military service in 1964 alongside the M14, followed by the M16-A1 in 1969, becoming the standard front line weapon, and is still in use today as the A4. It is most notable as being one of the defining weapons of the Vietnam War. This example has good complete plastic furniture, no chips or broken bits, but a few cracks and scatches as would be expected on 40+ year old plastics. You are very lucky if you can find these guns without damage to the rather fragile plastic handguards! The sprung cocking handle, trigger and fire-select have full movement, and the magazine is detachable with a certain amount of stripping possible as shown. Comes with sling and a couple of inert .223" rounds. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.

Our Price: £895.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the EU.
