Deactivated Chinese Type-54 PPS-43 sub-machine gun 1954 dated , early spec deactivation **SOLD**

This is the Chinese made Type 54, a copy of the Soviet Russian PPS-43 used by the Red Army. Developed by the Russians as a cheap, compact and lightweight replacement for the PPSh-41 submachine-gun, and providing similar accuracy and firepower, it chambered the same 7.62 x 25mm round. Initialy developed as the PPS-42 and then further refined into the PPS-43, Soviet production ceased in 1946, but derivatives continued to be built by several countries including China till much later, and it is still in use to this day. This example is dated 1954 on the receiver and is identical to the wartime Russian models. In very good condition with good steel and complete undamaged grips, this smg is an early spec deactivation, meaning it will cock and dry-fire, and can be 'broken' as shown to allow field stripping. Features top-folding skeleton stock and detachable magazine. Complete with leather sling and 2 inert 7.62 x 25mm rounds. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.

Our Price: £450.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal in the UK.
