Deactivated Chinese Mauser Standard-Modell 1933 infantry rifle

This is the Chinese made 'Chiang kai-Shek' short rifle, a copy of the Standard Modell M1933 'short rifle', produced by Mauser of Germany from 1933 in defiance of their surrender terms after WW1. These rifles were made from 1936 up till 1949, after having first bought genuine Mauser ones from Germany to equip the Chinese army, chambering the same 7.92mm round. This particular example is in good original condition, with sound complete woodwork and steel, showing only the knocks associated with a service rifle, and with interesting Chinese characters and cartouches on the butt, and more Chinese characters on the receiver. Under the latest regs, this rifle has full moving bolt and trigger, but no dry-fire. An unusual military Mauser rifle that comes with one inert 7.92mm round. Deactivated in the UK with Proof-House certificate to UK/EU specification.
