Deactivated BSA made SMLE Mk3*, 1945 dated, all matching s/numbers, early spec

This is the standard infantry rifle of the British Army and the forces of it's Empire during WW1 and WW2, the Lee-Enfield rifle no1 mk 3, also known as the SMLE, made at the BSA factory in Birmingham. The butt socket is stamped with the Royal Cypher of George V, indicating military issue, a partial stamp of maker BSA Co or perhaps a dispersal factory, date of 1945, and the model SHT.L.E. III*. This is one of the very last made in the UK, with correct N prefix to the serial number. The furniture is in very good original condition, complete and undamaged, except for the usual armourer's modification to the upper handguards, fitting and matching nicely. Interesting No4 butt and alloy buttplate factory adapted to the SMLE with correct safety cutout. The steelwork is also in very good condition, retaining a lot of it's original blackened finish, plus some green cammo paint. Matching serial numbers to breech, bolt, barrel (1943 dated), rearsights, nosecap and forestock. A completely original example of this iconic rifle perfect for the reinactor or collector alike. This rifle is able to cock and dry-fire and is fully strippable, and comes with detachable magazine, a  period sling and a full clip of 1945 dated inert .303 rounds. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.
