Deactivated British Sten mk2 9mm submachine gun, with sling **SOLD**

This is the British Sten MK2 submachine gun brought into service in 1941. Known historically as the 'plumbers delight' or the 'stench gun' due to it's simplicity. Together with others,  this was one of the weapons that the UK developed when faced with German invasion. Over 4 million Stens were made and they served their purpose very well. This example is in very good condition, retaining nearly all its blacked finish, and has a fully moving trigger. The bolt is fixed but is the original bolt and not a facsimile. With removable magazine and skeleton-type shoulder stock, it can be stripped as shown, and the mag housing can rotate to the shipping position. Comes with correct sling, faintly dated, and 3 rounds of inert 9mm ammunition to complete the package.  Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.

Our price: £725.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the UK.
