This is a double-barrelled hammer action shotgun of side-by-side construction with over-lever breaking, with full 30 inch barrels, made by  the Midland Gun Co. of Birmingham. This company existed from 1897 till 1952, when it was taken over by Parker-Hale. I would place this example as being from the late 1800's. It is in super condition, with lightly cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock and minimally engraved metalwork, with a pleasant aged patina to the steel.  This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a very precise action and it can be fully stripped.  It would make a fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace!
