Deactivated British Lloyd & Son 12-bore hammer shotgun **SOLD**

This is a double-barrelled hammer action shotgun of side-by-side construction with over-lever breaking, with full 30 inch barrels, made by James Lloyd of Lewes, East Sussex. This company existed from 1831 right up to 1940, occupying a number of premises in Lewes and Horsham. I would place this example as being from the mid-late 1800's. It is in very good condition for it's age, with lightly cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock and minimally engraved metalwork, though there is loss of finish on the barrels.  This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a very precise action on both barrels and it can be fully stripped, and would make a fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included to compliment this classic vintage hunting shotgun. More are available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered  together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to EU specification.

Our Price: £190.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the EU.
