This is the British Lanchester MK1* submachine gun, produced from 1941 to 1943 and issued primarily to the Royal Navy. About 95,000 were made, and this example was made at the Sterling factory in Northampton, dispersal code M619. This example is in very good original condition, nice patina to the steel and '43 dated brass mag housing, with good woodwork. An 'old spec' deactivation, so able to cock and dry-fire and full strip, complete with original detachable 50-round magazine and genuine webbing sling, plus 3 inert 1943 dated 9mm rounds to complete the package. Deactivated in the UK with proofhouse certificate of deactivation.
