Deactivated British Holloway & Naughton Ltd 12-bore hammer shotgun **SOLD**
This is a double-barrelled hammer action shotgun of side-by-side construction with top-lever breaking, full 30 inch barrels, made by Holloway and Naughton of Birmingham. This company was formed in 1909, but Naughton had been making high quality guns long before this, and I would place this example as being from before WW1. It is in super condition, with cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock, and intricately engraved metalwork, with maker's names on the action sides as well as between the barrels. This shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires with a very precise action on both barrels and it can be fully stripped. A fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included to compliment this classic vintage hunting shotgun. More are available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
