This is a beautiful old hammer action shotgun of side-by-side construction, made in Liege, Belgium by the Masu Brothers, with rotary underlever breaking. Marked 'Masu Freres a Liege and 31, Wigmore Street, London' faintly between the barrels and probably dating to the mid/late 1800s.   Classic hardwood furniture with beautiful grain in good complete condition, steel buttplate, and extensive engraving to all the steel. Overall lovely clean finish to the action with pleasant patina to the 28 inch Damascus steel barrels. This shotgun breaks and cocks, but only dry-fires with a bit of help. Two inert 12 bore cartridges are included, with more available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each in a variety of colours. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
