Deactivated Arthur Turner 12-bore boxlock shotgun **SOLD**
This is a double-barrelled boxlock shotgun of side-by-side construction with 28 inch barrels, made by Arthur Turner of 5 Westbar, Sheffield, as marked between the two barrels and on the action sides. It is in very good condition, with lightly cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock and profusely engraved metalwork, with a very light patina to the steel. The action sides are decorated with the engraving of a hunting dog, and the underside and trigger guard are decorated with game birds. This super shotgun breaks, cocks and dry-fires on both barrels with a precise action and it can be fully stripped. It would make a fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included to compliment this classic vintage hunting shotgun. More are available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to EU specification.
