Deactivated American M1 Carbine 1943 dated Quality Hardware made

This is a 0.30 inch calibre US M1 Carbine marked Rock-Ola on the barrel by the foresights, and a date of 3-43, with a gap but no 'flaming bomb' symbol, and Quality Hardware &MC marked on the receiver, with a serial number dating it to early 1943. Rock-Ola were a military contractor who made jukeboxes in peace-time, and QHMC likewise manfactured tooling. This example is a current spec deactivation, but has the benefit of sliding and locking cocking-lever with fully moving trigger, functional safety and a detachable magazine. The original hardwood furniture is in good sound condition, with a nice grain pattern in the hardwood stock, and just minor knocks from it's service life, and showing a nice 'crossed cannon' ordnance cartouche and inspector stamp on the butt. The steel too is very good, still retaining most of it's original finish. Included with this rifle are two 1943 dated inert rounds to load into the magazine. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.

 Our price: £650.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the EU.
