Deactivated American Hunter Arms 12- bore boxlock shotgun **SOLD**
Deactivated American Hunter Arms 12- bore boxlock shotgun **SOLD**
This is a 12-bore double-barrelled boxlock shotgun of side-by-side construction made by the Hunter Arms Company, of Fulton, New York, USA, as marked on the top of the 28 inch barrels on the left side, with the model name 'The Fulton' on the right side. The Fulton was manufactured from 1915, and the serial number puts this as a mid-1920s model. This example is in lovely authentic condition with classic cross-hatched hardwood rear and forestock, with just the odd marks that would be expected on a 100-year old 'depression-era' shotgun. Pleasant patina of age to the plain metalwork, with only light corrosion generally on the action or barrels. This shotgun has working action on both barrels, with fuctional safety, and can be fully stripped. It would make a fabulous addition to anybody's hunting lodge, mounted over the fireplace! Two inert cartridges are included, with more available seperately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered with the shotgun. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to EU specification.
