Deactivated AK74 Bulgarian made assault rifle, early spec deactivation **SOLD**

This is a Bulgarian made Kalashnikov AK-74, first developed in 1974 by the Russians and produced from 1978 to the present. As a replacement for the AKM/AK-47 generation of assault rifles, this rifle was a further development of this tried and tested design. Chambering the new 5.45mm x 39mm round, it proven to be more accurate and reliable than it's predecessor and first saw service with Soviet forces in the 1979 Afghanistan conflict. This particular example is in very good condition, with wooden buttstock and forestock, plastic pistol-grip and handguard, and features a detachable flash-eliminator. Excellent blacking, this rifle has full working action, and has matching numbers to breech, bolt and bolt cover. Deactivated in 1994, it can be cocked and dry-fired and field stripped. Comes complete with sling, cleaning rod and detachable magazine, plus a couple of inert 5.45mm rounds, with more available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section, post free if ordered with a rifle. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
