Deactivated W.H.Monk 20-bore boxlock shotgun **SOLD**
This is a beautiful old boxlock action sporting shotgun of side-by-side construction, made by W.H.Monk of Chester as engraved between the 28" barrels and on the action sides, who traded from 1868 up to 1925. Classic cross-hatched hardwood furniture with beautiful grain in super condition. All the blacking remaining on the plain action and barrels. This shotgun breaks and has moving triggers and safety lever, but under current EU rules will not dry-fire or strip. Two inert 20 bore cartridges are included, with more available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
