Deactivated Enfield No2 mk1 .38" service revolver, 1934 dated **SOLD**
T
This is a 0.38" calibre Enfield No2 Mk 1 service revolver of the type issued to infantry officers. Produced from 1923 till 1957, the mk 1 and 1* Enfield was one of the standard side-arms of the British and Commonwealth forces during WW2. Dated 1934 on the frame and on the barrel, this particular example is a current spec deactivation, in very good overall condition, with wooden hand grips showing only minor marks, typical of a wartime service revolver. All the original finish to the steel and matching serial numbers to frame, barrel and chamber, plus several Enfield stamps and broad-arrows. This classic revolver cocks and dry-fires with a good precise action with no play in the hinge. The inert rounds shown are not included but are available separately at £1.50 each in the 'Inert Ammunition' section, post free if ordered together with this classic service revolver. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
