This is a beautiful old hammer action sporting shotgun of side-by-side construction, with under lever breaking, made by E. M. Reilly & Co of Oxford Street, London, who were very high end gunsmiths to royalty. This shotgun probably dates from the mid-Victorian era, and the makers name is on both action sides amongst much engraving including images of hunting. With 29" damascus steel barrels, steel buttplate and classic hardwood furniture with beautiful grain and light cross-hatching, this sporting shotgun would make a lovely display piece. This shotgun is a latest spec deactivation, so breaks with moving hammers and triggers. Two inert 12 bore cartridges are included, with more available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK/EU specification.
Our Price £195.00
