British WW1 'Mons' Trio with rosette to 2/Sussex Regiment **SOLD**


This is a genuine WW1 Mons Trio awarded to Private P. Beeney, of the 2nd battalion Royal Sussex Regiment. Stamped S-542, PTE. P. BEENEY, 2/R.SUSS.R. on the back of the 1914 Star, and 542, PTE. P. BEENEY R.SUSS.R. on the edge of the British War Medal and Victory Medal. The medals are in generally good condition with no damage worth mentioning and just a patina of age. The ribbons are rather poor but original to the medals as worn. The 1914 Star ribbon has an attached rosette, and evidence of the Mons bar, now lost.
