British Tower Pattern 1838 percussion musket

This is an usual gun, a Pattern 1838 muzzle-loading percussion musket with 25" barrel, possibly for police or customs use rather than military. Market Tower on the side lock with a queens crown, relating to the newly crowned Victoria, this musket is in lovely condition, complete with original ram-rod, and has a good working action and comes with a later British army webbing sling. No licence required for ownership, provided there is no intention to fire it, in which case the necessary permissions will be mandatory.
