This is an late issue SLR L1A3 bayonet and scabbard in very good condition, as fitted to the British issued SLR rifles.  This example has a very good blade, perfect edge and point, with all it's blacked finish, marked ED 70 on both sides of the grips, along with L1A3 and the Nato part number of 9600257. Very good scabbard with correct brass throat, gloss black painted with polished frog stud, fitted into a genuine nylon parade frog. A lovely example of this increasingly sought-after bayonet.
