These are pattern 1937 webbing ankle gaiters, also known as spats or putties, dated 1955. In good condition with no loose stitching, they have a number of names inside, all former trainee officer's at Brittania Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, of which I was once one. Blanchoed white on the outside.
