British Pattern 1907 Sanderson made chromed Parade bayonet with scabbard, Canadian marked **SOLD**

This is a Pattern 1907 bayonet for use with the Lee-Enfield rifle no1 mk3 or   3*, better known as the SMLE.  All steel parts on the bayonet have been chromed for ceremonial duties, and the blade is in excellent condition with most details still visible on the ricasso. These show a partial date, the Royal Cypher and Sanderson as the maker, and on the other side inspection, bend test and broad arrow marks, no re-acceptance. Near perfect wooden grips on both sides and good release button. The pommel is stamped with the Canadian acceptance mark of a broad arrow within a C.  The round frog-stud scabbard is also chromed, with just a small patch of missing chrome under the stud, that would be hidden by a frog (available at £5 with this bayonet, patt'37 blancoed white), otherwise very good. A lovely piece of history to compliment any SMLE.
