British Pattern 1907 Sanderson made bayonet with scabbard, dated 1918, Canadian marked **SOLD**

This is a Pattern 1907 bayonet for use with the Lee-Enfield rifle no1 mk3 or 3* , better known as the SMLE.  Dated 9 '18 under the Royal Cypher, with a difficult to read Sanderson as the maker, and on the other side inspection bend test and broad arrow marks. The parkarised blade is in excellent condition with a few minor marks, perfect unsharpened edge and perfect point. Sound wooden grips on both sides, with just minor marks, and good release button. Canadian acceptance stamped on the blacked pommel. The oval frog-stud scabbard is in very good sound condition, with most of the original blacked finish to the steel. A lovely piece of history to compliment any SMLE.
