This is a Sanderson made bayonet dated 12 '18  under the Royal Cypher  on the ricasso. The other side shows inspection marks, bend test stamp and broad arrow stamps, with no re-acceptance dates. The parkarised steel blade is in good straight condition with good unsharpened edge, though showing some light dings in the edge, and good point. Good sound wooden grips with minor marks and good working release button. Stamped G DEP 3313 on the pommel. Round frog-stud scabbard  in good sound condition, with some of the original black painted finish to the steel.  A nice sound bayonet and scabbard to compliment your WW1 SMLE.
