World War 1 bayonets
This is a Pattern 1908 webbing frog in very good clean used condition, more of a light green in colour than khaki. Apart from a tiny rust mark at the top where the pommel would be, this frog is in excellent condition. All stitching is intact, and interesting in that it is marked 5 39 to the rear, and not easy to read, but when held at the right angle London 1937 can be read on the back. The maker name is obscured behind the 5 39, making this one of the last Pattern 1908 frogs to be made before the Pattern 1937 webbing was introduced.
