This is the hard to find No5 bayonet, designed to fit the Lee-Enfield No5 Jungle carbine, and also the Sterling smg. In very nice condition with very good blade, point and edge, marked N187 on one ricasso, the wartime dispersal code for Radcliffe Engineering who made 75,000 of these. Excellent wooden grips, both broadarrow stamped, and most of blacked finish to the steel. The scabbard is in good complete undented condition with a similar blacked finish, correct steel throat, S294 marked, fitted into a genuine period webbing frog.
