British Fairbairn-Sykes 3rd pattern 'Desert Storm' presentation Commando knife, Wilkinson made

This is a 'Desert Storm' numbered presentation 3rd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife, made the Wilkinson Sword Company of Sheffield. Both sides of the double-edged dagger blade are etched with 'Operation Desert Storm 17th January 1991' on one side, along with the Wilkinson Sword logo, and 'Her Majesty's Armed Forces Defending World Freedom' with the Fairbairn-Sykes logo, and a unique limited edition number of 091 on the other.

The Wilkinsons Sword Company made the very first of these knives, the 1st pattern, in 1941, and produced this presentation piece after the first Iraq War. This example is in excellent condition, and comes in the standard leather scabbard with 4 tabs for attachment to the trouser leg.
