British Fairbairn-Sykes 3rd pattern Commando knife, Nowill made

This is a genuine 3rd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife, made by J.Nowill & Sons of Sheffield, showing the Nowill 'crossed keys' logo on the grip and etched details on blade. It's design was of a double-edged dagger with a foil grip, thought up by William Ewart Fairbairn and Eric Anthony Sykes in pre-war China. Production of the 1st pattern started in 1941 at the Wilkinsons Sword Company. This example is in very good condition, and comes in a black leather scabbard.  J.Nowill & Sons still make the 3rd pattern fighting knife for Nato forces today.
