This is a Belgian made M51 gas mask used by both the French and Belgian military from the early 1950s till the early 1990s. Dated 1956 on the chin part of the mask, with roman numeral III for a small size. This gas-mask is in very good condition, with no apparent deterioration to any of the rubber parts, including the rubber head straps, and comes with filter and correct carrying bag with instructions for use. A great piece of history, intended for display use only!
