Australian Owen P1944 bayonet and scabbard, 1952 dated **SOLD**
This is the Australian made Pattern 1944 bayonet for the Owen sub-machinegun. Broadarrow marked with a date of 52 on one ricasso, and MA53 with bend test cross on the other, this bayonet is in excellent condition with perfect point and factory sharpened edge and parkarised finish to the steel. Excellent SLAZ 52 marked wooden grips. Fitted into very good scabbard, OA stamped on the throat and chape, minor movement in the former, Mangrovite '44 stamped to rear of leather.
