Post World War 2 bayonets and Knives
This is a SLR L1A2 bayonet and scabbard. Unmarked as standard, with all steel rivetted grips, this variant was manufactured in Lithgow, Australia and is in mint unused condition throughout and fitted into a genuine webbing frog. Nearly identical to the British made L1A1 variant, with the characteristic protruding release button, but slightly different blade shape and fuller design, these SLR bayonets were also made in Canada and India, and of course will fit any SLR rifle.
