American Remington made Pattern 1913 bayonet and scabbard/3

This is a pattern 1913 bayonet as fitted to the British P13 and P14 rifles as well as the US Model of 1917, made under contract in the USA. This particular example is marked Remington under a date of 11 16, and 1913 as the pattern. On the other side is imperial inspection stamp and broadarrow and bend test stamps. The blade is lightly parkarised, perfect point, and very good unsharpened edge, blacked ricassos. Good wooden grips, showing minor knocks, and release button, with a light patina of age to pommel and crossguard. Good round frog-stud scabbard with good blacking to the steel parts, maker marked JBB, stamped M/58 to rear of leather.  A great addition to any WW1 P14 or M17, or Home Guard re-inactor.
