Swedish Model 1914 bayonet and scabbard SOLD

This is the bayonet designed to fit the Swedish Mauser model 1894/14 carbine. It also fitted the Model 1945 sub-machinegun. In super condition, the blade is near perfect with excellent edge and point. The wooden grips are in equally excellent condition, with a nice patina to the steel crossguard and pommel. The scabbard is very good with just a couple of small dents towards the tip, and retaining most of its blacked finish. Regimental markings on the scabbard relate to a cavalry unit rather than the usual infantry. An unusual WW1 era bayonet in excellent condition.
