Deactivated Webley mk5 service revolver 1914 dated **SOLD**

This is a lovely untouched example of the Mark V .455 calibre Webley service revolver as in use by British forces at the start of WW1. Dated 1914 on the frame and barrel, and with a multitude of broadarrow and acceptance marks, this pistol has all matching serial numbers. Lovely patina to the steel, no butchered screw heads as is so often seen! there is unfortunately some light damage to the grips and a missing lanyard attachment ring. The grips are complete but have some minor chips as can be seen from the pictures, the left side seems to have a part at the bottom that has delaminated but is still firmly attached, but then it is 100 years old and probably served the entire Great War. A current spec deactivation with clear barrel, this pistol can be cocked and dry-fired and fully stripped. Inert .455" rounds are not included but are available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.

Our Price: £595.00

All deactivated weapons sold by Jaybe Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly and is legal within the U.K.
