Deactivated Mosin-Nagant M38 Russian infantry carbine 1944 dated SOLD

The Mosin-Nagant M1938 or M38 infantry carbine is the rifle that was introduced in 1938 to replace the M1891/30 'long' rifle in 1938. Dated 1944 on the breech along with the Russian Hammer & Sickle mark and the Izhevsk Arsenal stamp. The unrefurbished steel is in very good condition with all its original blacked finish, and the solid hardwood stock is in super condition for a service carbine. Of particular importance, is matching serial number to bolt and breech. Capable of being cocked and dry-fired, and fully stripped, including bolt, this rifle comes complete with the correct sling. An inexpensive WW2 infantry rifle in good condition, and getting very hard to find now. The inert cartridges shown are not included but are available separately in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 each, post free if ordered together. Deactivated in the UK with Certificate to UK specification.
